50-49-103 . Definitions. For purposes of this part, unless the context requires otherwise, the following definitions apply:
(1)"Department" means the department of public health and human services provided for in 2-15-2201 .
(2)"Food programs and nutrition services" means public or private programs to provide food and nutrition assistance to persons who have need. The term includes but is not limited to the food stamp program, food programs for the elderly, and supplemental food programs for women, infants, and children.
