53-4-706 . Participation requirements.
(1)Except as otherwise provided in this section, the department may require individuals to participate in an employment and training program as a condition of their eligibility for cash assistance.
(2)To the extent that the program is available and that state resources permit, the department shall require recipients of cash assistance to participate in the program if the department determines that it is an appropriate activity for the recipient and includes participation as a condition of the recipient's individual responsibility plan.
