53-30-718 . Exercise outside of cell.
(1)An adult inmate in restrictive housing or protective custody must be allowed a minimum of 1 hour of exercise each day outside of the inmate's cell, 5 days a week, unless security or safety considerations dictate otherwise.
(2)A youth inmate in protective custody must be allowed 1 hour of large muscle activity every 24 hours.
