35-20-101 . Permissible purposes for association -- first meeting -- election of trustees. A group of seven persons or more residing in any county in the state of Montana who desire to form an association for the purpose of procuring and holding lands to be used exclusively for a cemetery or place of burial of the dead may meet at a time and place that they or a majority of them agree upon and appoint a presiding officer and secretary by a vote of the majority of the persons present at the meeting and may proceed to form an association by agreeing upon a corporate name by which the association must be known and by determining upon the number of trustees to manage the affairs of the association.
