80-2-241 . Report of losses. All losses by hail to crops insured under this part must be reported within 14 days after the loss by the owner of the crops or by the owner's agent or attorney to the board of hail insurance. The board shall require the claimant to make a statement of the losses sustained, the cause of the losses, and other information that the board may require on the forms to be provided for that purpose. If a loss is reported more than 14 days after it occurs, the board shall charge the claimant for all costs incurred in making the adjustment.
