67-2-402 . Cooperation -- municipalities.

(1)The department may offer its engineering or other technical services, without charge, to a municipality desiring them in connection with the construction, maintenance, or operation or proposed construction, maintenance, or operation of an airport or restricted landing area.
(2)The department may render assistance in the acquisition, development, operation, or maintenance of airports owned, controlled, or operated by municipalities in this state out of appropriations made by the legislature for that purpose.
(3)Municipalities may cooperate with the department in the development of aeronautics and aeronautic facilities in this state.
