52-2-630 . Reimbursement of waived fees -- authorization to utilize federal funds -- directions to department. The department of public health and human services is authorized to apply for and receive from the federal government funds that may be appropriated by the United States congress for aiding in the successful transition of foster care children to adulthood. The department may use the funds to reimburse the entity responsible for collecting the fees identified in 52-2-629 (2) for the value of fees waived under 52-2-629 . The department is not required to reimburse the value of fees waived under 52-2-629 if no funds are received from the congress for aiding in the successful transition of foster care children to adulthood.
