33-2-1502 . Filing requirements.

(1)Each domestic, foreign, and alien insurer authorized to transact insurance in this state shall, on or before March 1 of each year, file with the NAIC a copy of its annual statement convention form, along with any additional filings for the preceding year as prescribed by the commissioner. The information filed with the NAIC must be in the same format and scope as that required by the commissioner and must include the signed jurat page and the actuarial certification. Amendments to the annual statement filing that are subsequently filed with the commissioner must also be filed with the NAIC.
(2)Foreign insurers domiciled in a state that has a law substantially similar to this section are considered to be in compliance with this section.
