33-2-1407 . Enforcement and penalties -- rulemaking.
(1)The commissioner may examine and investigate the activities of any person that the commissioner reasonably believes has been or is engaged in an act or practice prohibited by this part.
(2)The commissioner may enforce the provisions of this part by issuing cease and desist orders and by imposing a fine not to exceed $1,000 for each violation.
(3)The commissioner may adopt rules to implement the provisions of this part.
