33-2-1347 . Duty of insurance producers to give notice.

(1)Every person who receives notice in the form prescribed in 33-2-1346 that an insurer that the person represents as an insurance producer is the subject of a liquidation order shall within 15 days of the notice give notice of the liquidation order. The notice must be sent by first-class mail to the last address contained in the insurance producer's records to each policyholder or other person named in any policy issued through the insurance producer by the insurer if the producer has a record of the address of the policyholder or other person.
