80-15-414 . Criminal penalties.
(1)A person who intentionally commits a violation as specified in 80-15-402 is guilty of an offense and subject to a fine not to exceed $25,000 for each day the violation continues or imprisonment for not more than 1 year, or both. Following an initial conviction under this section, a subsequent conviction subjects a person to a fine of not more than $50,000 for each day the violation continues or imprisonment for not more than 2 years, or both.
(2)Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, a person convicted of violating any of the provisions of this chapter or rules issued under this chapter or who misrepresents, impedes, obstructs, hinders, or otherwise prevents or attempts to prevent the department from performance of its duties in connection with t
