3-12-203 . Judge in multicounty district.
(1)When there is more than one county in the judicial district and the county commissioners of more than one county in that district create small claims courts, the district court judges may provide that the same judge of small claims court may preside over more than one of the small claims courts in the judicial district.
(2)In the cases described in subsection (1), the salary of the small claims court judge must be prorated among the counties in which the judge presides.
(3)The judge is entitled to collect mileage for the distance actually traveled when required to convene small claims court in more than one county, pursuant to 2-18-503 .
