7-10-104 . Regional resource authority or expansion -- election required -- notice.
(1)Upon a determination that the petition complies with the provisions of 7-10-102 , the board of county commissioners of each county in which the proposed regional resource authority or expansion lies shall give notice of an election to be held within the boundaries of the proposed authority or expansion for the purpose of determining whether a regional resource authority should be created or expanded. The election must be held in accordance with Title 13, chapter 1, part 5.
(2)Notice of the election must be made as provided in 13-1-108 and must:
(a)describe the purpose of the proposed authority or expansion; and
(b)state the name of the proposed authority.
