33-1-305 . Conflicts of interest prohibited. The commissioner or any deputy, examiner, assistant, or employee of the commissioner:
(1)may not be financially interested, directly or indirectly, in any insurer, insurance agency, or insurance transaction except as a policyholder or claimant under a policy; and
(2)is subject to the ethics provisions in Title 2, chapter 2.
