Text

1.Any municipality or other political subdivision which qualifies under the provisions of sections 701.350 to 701.380 shall enforce the provisions of sections 701.363 to 701.367 and the rules of the board promulgated hereunder and for such purpose shall have the powers of the inspector prescribed in section 701.365 .  In order to so qualify, a municipality or political subdivision shall enact a local law or ordinance requiring an annual inspection of all installations, new installations, and existing installations required to be inspected by the provisions of sections 701.363 to 701.367 located in such municipality or political subdivision.
2.The provisions of sections 701.350 to 701.380 shall not apply to materials handling equipment which complies with ANSI B20.1 STANDARD.
