If any provisions of sections 701.340 to 701.349 , or the application thereof, to any persons or circumstances are * held invalid, such validity shall not affect other provisions or applications of sections 701.340 to 701.349 that can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end the provisions of sections 701.340 to 701.349 are declared to be severable.
