Text
Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, no victim of the crime of domestic assault, as defined in sections 565.072 to 565.074 , no victim of the crime of stalking, as defined in section 565.225 , and no victim, as defined in section 595.010 , shall be required to pay the costs associated with the filing of criminal charges against the offender, or the costs associated with the filing, issuance, registration or service of a warrant, protection order, petition for protection order or witness subpoena.
