Text

1.Beginning July 1, 2000, or an earlier date which may be designated by order of the supreme court, upon written notice to all circuit clerks of this state, the clerk of each court of this state shall disburse court costs collected by, or under the authority of, the clerk, in the manner provided by supreme court rule.  Such rule may provide that all or portions of such court costs be deposited into a special fund or funds to be established by the state courts administrator.  Such funds shall not be considered to be state funds, except those funds disbursed to the department of revenue pursuant to subdivisions (4) and (5) of subsection 2 of this section; but shall be held in trust by the state courts administrator for benefit of those persons or entities entitled to receive such funds pur
