Text

1.Any person who violates any of the provisions of section 416.615 shall forfeit and pay to the state a civil penalty of a minimum of one thousand dollars and up to five thousand dollars per violation.  Each day on which a violation occurs shall be considered a separate violation.
2.The attorney general, with such assistance as he may require from the appropriate county prosecuting attorney, may investigate suspected violations of sections 416.600 to 416.640 and may commence and try all such actions for a civil penalty.  All reasonable and necessary expenses incurred by a prosecuting attorney or the prosecuting attorney's staff in assisting the attorney general shall be reimbursed from appropriations made to the attorney general.  All funds recovered by the attorney general shall be p
