Text

Subject to the approval of the director of the division of finance, every association may amend its articles of incorporation upon the adoption of a resolution covering each amendment by the affirmative votes of a majority of the members of a mutual association or a majority of the stockholders of a capital stock association who are present in person or by proxy at any annual or special meeting of the members or stockholders.  Each proposed amendment shall be filed with the director of the division of finance not less than thirty days prior to the date of such meeting.  If the director of the division of finance finds that the proposed amendment is in conformity with the law, the director shall approve the amendment not less than fifteen days prior to the members' meeting.  The resolution
