Text

1.The board shall hold meetings for the examination of applicants for registration and the transaction of other business pertaining to its duties at least once in six months.  Such regular meetings require at least ten days' public notice of the time and place of such meetings.  The president or vice president of the board shall have the authority to call additional meetings of the board without the ten-day notice when such is deemed necessary, provided that sufficient notice is given to the other board members and to the general public under chapter 610 .  Each member of the board shall receive as compensation an amount set by the board not to exceed fifty dollars for each day devoted to the affairs of the board, and shall be entitled to reimbursement of his or her expenses necessarily
