The board or any member thereof or any agent duly authorized by it may enter the office, premises, establishment or place of business of any licensee or registrant, or any office, premises, establishment or place where the practice of funeral directing, embalming, preneed selling or providing is carried on, or where such practice is advertised as being carried on for the purpose of inspecting said office, premises or establishment and for the purpose of inspecting the license and registration of any licensee or registrant and the manner and scope of training given by the licensee or registrant to the apprentice operating therein.
