Text

Beginning January 1, 1991, any city, town, village or county which can be expected to experience an intensity of ground shaking equivalent to a Modified Mercalli of VII or above from an earthquake occurring along the New Madrid Fault with a potential magnitude of 7.6 on the Richter Scale, and which does not comply with the requirements of sections 319.200 to 319.207 shall not be eligible to receive any state aid, assistance, grant, loan or reimbursement until compliance has been proven to the satisfaction of the commissioner of administration.  The commissioner of administration shall notify the state treasurer and the attorney general of any city, town, village or county which, within ninety days after notice of noncompliance, does not comply with the requirements of sections 319.200 to 3
