Text

1.  The lottery commission, the state lottery or any employee of the state lottery, or any organization with whom the state has contracted to operate the state lottery or any of that organization's employees shall not publish the name, address, or any other identifying information of any person who wins the state lottery. 2.  As used in this section, "publish" means to issue information or material in printed or electronic form for distribution or sale to the public. 3.  Any person or entity who violates the provisions of this section by publishing identifying information protected under this section is guilty of a class A misdemeanor. 4.

(1)This section shall not apply to any entity described in subsection 1 of this section if the person who wins the state lottery authorizes in writ
