Text
The commission shall appoint a director. The director shall perform his duties subject to the direction of the commission. He may be removed by the commission for good cause shown after notice and an opportunity to be heard. He shall be qualified to direct the operations of a state-operated lottery. No person shall be appointed as lottery director who has been convicted of a felony or any gambling-related offense. The director shall receive a salary as set by the commission and subject to appropriation. He shall devote his entire time and attention to the duties of his office, and he shall not engage in any other profession or occupation.
