Text
The commission shall consist of five members appointed by the governor with advice and consent of the senate, no more than three of whom shall be of the same political party. Members shall be appointed for terms of three years except for the initial members, two of whom shall be appointed for a term of one year, two for a term of two years, and one for a term of three years. No person shall be appointed as a commissioner who has been convicted of a felony or gambling related offense. The commission shall elect one of its members as chairman of the commission. All appointments shall be made within thirty days after expiration of a term. Vacancies shall be filled within thirty days by the governor for the unexpired portion of the term. The governor may remove any commissioner for cause
