Text
1.The state board of mediation shall have power to employ and fix the compensation of conciliators and other assistants and to delegate to such assistants such powers as may be necessary to carry out its duties under this chapter. The board shall by regulation prescribe the methods of procedure before it.
2.The board shall have power to issue subpoenas requiring the attendance and testimony of witnesses and the production of evidence which relates to any matter under investigation by the board. In cases of refusal to obey a subpoena issued by the board the circuit court of Cole County or of any county where the person refusing to obey such subpoena may be found, on application by the board, shall have power to issue an order requiring such person to appear before the board and to te
