Text
1.There is hereby created in the state treasury a fund to be known as the "Child Labor Enforcement Fund". All moneys awarded by any court for civil damages for violations of this chapter and all moneys collected in settlements from persons who violate the provisions of this chapter shall be transmitted to the department of revenue for deposit in the child labor enforcement fund. Subject to appropriations, the money in this fund shall be used by the division of labor standards for investigations and enforcement of the provisions of this chapter.
2.Notwithstanding the provisions of section 33.080 to the contrary, money in this fund shall not be transferred and placed to the credit of general revenue until the amount in the fund at the end of the biennium exceeds two times the amount o
