Text

1.The operator of every underground mine except coal mines shall provide and maintain an air current sufficient to remove smoke and noxious gases and to insure the health and safety of every employee.
2.The ventilation required by this section shall be controlled by natural or mechanical appliances; or both if the director deems it to be necessary.
