Text
1.If the renewal of any license or certification provided for in sections 281.010 to 281.115 is not filed prior to the expiration date in any year, a penalty of twenty-five percent shall be assessed and added to the original fee and shall be paid by the applicant before the license or certification shall be renewed. Any person holding a current valid license or certification may renew the license or certification for the next year without taking another examination unless the director determines that additional knowledge related to classifications for which the applicant has applied makes a new examination necessary. However, if the license is not renewed within sixty days following the date of expiration, the license shall be cancelled and the licensee shall be required to satisfy
