Text

1.  The commodity merchandising council shall:

(1)Elect a chairman and any other officers as is considered desirable;
(2)Authorize the director with the approval of the council to expend a budgeted amount of the commodity council merchandising fund in the administration of the commodity merchandising program and in the collection of commodity merchandising fees;
(3)Perform such other duties as may be prescribed in the commodity merchandising program. 2.  The director shall be guided by the advice, recommendations and assistance of the commodity merchandising council in the collection of funds, audits and refunds associated with the commodity merchandising program.
