Text

The state entomologist may conduct such inspections and promulgate and enforce such quarantine rules as may be necessary in carrying out the provisions of sections 263.010 to 263.180 .  The state entomologist may call to any of his meetings any person or persons who in his judgment possesses information of value in carrying out the provisions of sections 263.010 to 263.180 , and necessary traveling expenses of such person or persons may be paid from the funds appropriated to the department.  No rule or portion of a rule promulgated under the authority of this chapter shall become effective unless it has been promulgated pursuant to the provisions of section 536.024 .
