Text
The authority shall consist of five members appointed by the governor, by and with the consent of the senate. A member's authority to act shall commence upon receiving the advice and consent of the senate, if the senate is in session, but if the senate is not in session, his authority shall commence immediately upon appointment by the governor, but shall terminate if advice and consent is not received thirty calendar days after the senate convenes. If advice and consent is not given, such person shall not be reappointed by the governor to the authority. Not more than three members of the authority shall be members of the same political party.
