Text
1.The board of trustees, in accepting financial aid from the United States government, the state, any public corporation or any person for the purposes of the district, shall place the funds in the aid fund, to be expended only for the specific purposes for which they were given. If any surplus remains after the accomplishment of such specific purpose, the balance may be transferred to the general fund.
2.Any public corporation may aid a district whenever its appropriating body duly makes appropriations therefor.
