Text

1.  The qualified voters in each county shall organize by electing a chairman and secretary of the meeting, who shall conduct elections for the following purposes:

(1)To determine whether a majority of the qualified votes have been cast in favor of becoming a part of the district; and
(2)If a majority of the qualified votes have been cast in favor of becoming a part of the district, then to select one commissioner of the district. 2.  All elections conducted pursuant to subsection 1 of this section shall be conducted as follows:  Each one acre of land which is assessed agricultural within the established boundary lines in the county shall represent one share, and each qualified voter shall be entitled to one vote by person or proxy for each one acre of land owned by such person with
