Text
1.The state auditor shall audit the financial transactions of the division in connection with the administration of sections 256.600 to 256.640 .
2.All money collected by the division under the provisions of sections 256.600 to 256.640 shall be deposited in the state treasury to the credit of a special fund hereby established to be known as the "Groundwater Protection Fund". Moneys in the fund shall be expended only for the purposes of administering sections 256.600 to 256.640 . Notwithstanding the provisions of section 33.080 , any balance remaining in the fund at the end of an appropriation period shall not be transferred to general revenue, except that should there be a balance remaining in the fund at the end of an appropriation period exceeding one-half of the next year's proje
