Text

1.The commissioners of such subdistricts so incorporated shall have power to issue road and bridge bonds for and on behalf of their respective subdistricts, payable out of funds derived from taxation of all property taxable therein to an amount including existing indebtedness payable out of funds so derived not exceeding five percent of the assessed valuation of such property to be ascertained by the assessment next before the last assessment for state and county purposes.  Such bonds shall be issued in denominations of one hundred dollars, or some multiple thereof, and the provisions of section 108.180 to the contrary notwithstanding, such bonds may bear interest at a rate determined by the special road subdistrict commissioners, payable semiannually, and to become due in not exceeding
