Text

1.The commission may make mortgage loans for the construction and rehabilitation of such residential housing as in the judgment of the commission has promise of supplying well-planned, well-designed housing for low and moderate income persons or families in locations where there is a need for such housing.  Such loans may include interim as well as permanent loans, and the housing may include ancillary commercial and other appurtenant facilities to the extent permitted by applicable commission regulations.
2.The commission may make loans to approved mortgagors which may develop and operate residential housing projects under sections 215.010 to 215.250 on a rental, cooperative or condominium basis.
