Except as specifically provided in sections 204.251 to 204.257 and except for the alternative method of creation prescribed in the provisions of subsections 3 to 7 of section 204.250 , sewer subdistricts created pursuant to the provisions of subsections 3 to 7 of section 204.250 shall in all respects be governed by the provisions of this chapter.
