Text

The premises, plants and facilities operated and maintained by egg processors shall be operated and maintained in a clean and sanitary condition.  The director shall adopt and promulgate rules and regulations pursuant to this section and chapter 536 establishing standards of cleanliness and sanitation for such premises, plants and facilities, and the director, or his authorized agents or representatives, are authorized and empowered to inspect such premises, plants and facilities in order to enforce such cleanliness and sanitation requirements.  No rule or portion of a rule promulgated under the authority of sections 196.311 to 196.361 shall become effective unless it has been promulgated pursuant to the provisions of section 536.024 .
