Text

1.  Employees of the technical college commonly known as the State Technical College of Missouri, who become employees of the State Technical College of Missouri on the date the conditions of section 178.631 are met, shall, on that date, become members of the Missouri state employees' retirement system if they otherwise meet the requirements for membership in that system.

(1)Any such employee who had been contributing to a retirement system established by sections 169.010 to 169.141 or 169.600 to 169.715 may elect one of the following:
(a)All creditable service with the public school retirement system of Missouri or the public education employee retirement system of Missouri resulting from employment with the State Technical College of Missouri shall be forfeited and an equal amount
