Text

1.  The school board of a school district that is located wholly or partially in a county with a charter form of government, or located wholly or partially in a city with more than thirty thousand inhabitants, may establish a four-day school week in lieu of a five-day school week for the 2026-27 school year and all subsequent school years only as permitted pursuant to the provisions of this section.  Nothing in this section shall be construed to apply to any district other than a school district that is located wholly or partially in a county with a charter form of government or a school district located wholly or partially in a city with more than thirty thousand inhabitants. 2.
