Text

1.Any employee of the state department of health and senior services employed as such on or after August 28, 1992, is entitled to creditable prior service under the provisions of chapter 104 for service rendered as an employee of a city or county health department organized under the provisions of chapter 192 or chapter 205 , or a city health department operating under a city charter or a combined city/county health department prior to becoming a member of the Missouri state employees' retirement system if credit has not previously been granted for such service and if and to the extent that the employee pays to the Missouri state employees' retirement system an amount determined by the board of trustees of the Missouri state employees' retirement system to actuarially fund the creditable
