Text
For the purpose of providing retirement income and other benefits to employees of the state, there is hereby created and established a benefit plan, which shall be under the management of boards of trustees herein described, and which shall be known as the "Year 2000 Plan". In the systems shall be vested the powers and duties specified in sections 104.1003 to 104.1093 and such other powers as may be necessary or proper to enable it, its officers, employees, and agents to carry out fully and effectively all the purposes of sections 104.1003 to 104.1093 . The provisions of sections 104.150 to 104.190 and 104.210 to 104.240 shall continue to be applicable to the transportation department and highway patrol retirement system under the year 2000 plan.
