Text
The state highways and transportation commission is authorized, when requested by the highways and transportation employees' and highway patrol retirement system, to provide liability insurance covering the operation of all vehicles owned or leased or used by the system. The commission is also authorized, when requested by the system, to provide workers' compensation coverage for the executive director and employees of the system. In the event the commission provides such insurance coverage, the system shall reimburse the commission for all costs of such coverage.
