Subdivision 1.Time. At least 30 days before a sale, the commissioner shall give published notice of the sale in each county containing land to be sold, and in the county where the sale will be held. If there is no newspaper published in the county, posted notice in the county courthouse must be given. The commissioner shall also provide electronic notice of sale. On or before the day of sale, the commissioner may withdraw any lands. Subd. 2.Contents. The notice must contain the following information:

(1)the time and place for the holding of the sales;
(2)a general statement of the terms of sale; and
(3)the place where lists of lands to be offered for sale may be obtained. Subd. 3.Additional advertising of land sales. In addition to notice of land sales required by subdivision 1, the
