Subdivision 1.Establishment. The state parks and trails donation account is established as a separate account in the natural resources fund. The account shall be administered by the commissioner of natural resources as provided in this section. Subd. 2.Funding sources. The state parks and trails donation account shall consist of contributions made under section168.1295and other contributions. The contributions may be made in cash, property, land, or interests in land. Subd. 3.Uses. Money in the account is appropriated to the commissioner of natural resources to operate and maintain the state parks and trails system.
