Text

The commissioner may investigate any subdivision required to be registered under sections83.20to83.42,83.43and83.44for the purpose of verifying statements contained in the application for registration or the public offering statement. For the purpose of such investigation, the commissioner may:

(a)use and rely upon any relevant information or data concerning a subdivision obtained by the commissioner from the Federal Housing Administration, the United States Veterans Administration, or any state or federal agency having supervisory duties over real estate subdivisions which are comparable to those of the commissioner;
(b)require the subdivider to submit reports prepared by an independent licensed or registered engineer concerning any hazard to which, in the opinion of the commissioner, a
