Subdivision 1.Nursing home receivers. Certain nursing home receivers are immune from personal liability as provided in section144A.15, subdivision 4. Subd. 2.Health care review organizations. Certain persons involved in health care review organization activities are immune from liability as provided in section145.63. Subd. 2a.Prescriptions for released persons. A physician, physician assistant, certified nurse practitioner, or clinical nurse specialist in psychiatric and mental health nursing who prescribes drugs for a prisoner or committed person is immune from liability for conduct of that person related to the use or nonuse of medicine as provided in section147.231. Subd. 3.Background checks.
