Subdivision 1.Terms. For purposes of this chapter, the terms defined in subdivisions 2 to 11 have the meanings given them. Subd. 2.Administrator. "Administrator" means a third party other than the warrantor who is designated by the warrantor to be responsible for the administration of vehicle protection product warranties. Subd. 3.Commissioner. "Commissioner" means the commissioner of commerce. Subd. 4.Department. "Department" means the Department of Commerce. Subd. 5.Incidental costs. "Incidental costs" means expenses specified in the warranty incurred by the warranty holder related to the failure of the vehicle protection product to perform as provided in the warranty.
